Desktop platforms
Windows and macOS
Use Memora Keep on Windows or macOS. Your archive is stored on your computer on either platform.
| Platform | Requires | Installer |
|---|---|---|
| Windows | Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) | .exe installer |
| macOS | macOS | .dmg disk image |
The exact minimum macOS, iOS and Android versions — and the phone models supported — are not stated here yet. They are added once verified against the current builds, rather than publishing an unconfirmed range.
Data types
Supported data and export formats
The archive is built from a full iPhone backup, and from Android media and WhatsApp backups. Only the data types listed here are parsed into it.
| Data | iPhone backup | Android backups | Export |
|---|---|---|---|
| WhatsApp chats & media | Supported | Supported | HTML, CSV, PDF |
| Text messages (SMS) | Supported | Not supported | CSV |
| Call history | Supported | Not supported | CSV |
| Contacts | Supported | Not supported | VCF |
| Notes & calendar | Supported | Not supported | No dedicated export yet |
| Voice memos & voicemail | Supported | Not supported | No dedicated export yet |
| Browser history | Supported | Not supported | CSV |
| Bookmarks | Supported | Not supported | No dedicated export yet |
| Photos & videos | Supported | Supported | Original files |
| Music & audio files | Not supported | Supported | Original files |
| Documents & archives | Not supported | Supported | Original files |
Document and compressed-file browsing currently supports Android media backups. Files included in an iPhone backup remain in the original backup but are not yet browsable in the archive. Media exports can be grouped into folders by device.
Device notes
Notes per source
The details that affect what a backup captures, and what it does not.
iPhone
Full-device backup to your computer, including WhatsApp, core information and media.
- Includes call history, SMS, contacts, notes, calendar, Safari history and bookmarks, voice memos, voicemail, photos, videos and WhatsApp.
- You can also import an existing iTunes or Finder backup. The app checks the required files and shows the device and backup details.
- An encrypted backup is detected before parsing and asks for the backup password.
Android
Media backup by type, plus a separate WhatsApp backup.
- Photos, videos, audio and documents can be selected by type, with a size estimate before the backup, progress during it, and support for canceling.
- A separate backup process supports WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. Follow the encryption-key prompts to import chats and media.
- The app shows connection status and prompts you if USB debugging permission is needed.
Generic iOS files such as documents and archives are retained in the raw iPhone backup, but they are not parsed into the archive yet. That is why the table above marks them as coming from the Android media backup only.
