From install to first export
Each step lists what it does and, where a guide exists, links to the full instructions.

Install Memora Keep
Download the build for your operating system and run the installer. There is no account to create and no subscription. On macOS, drag the app to Applications.

Open the setup wizard
Open Memora Keep and follow the setup wizard to choose your storage location and language.

Choose the storage folder
Pick a folder on your own disk. The raw device backup, the media files and the local SQLite archive are all written there. Memora Keep does not upload your backups or archive.

Make your first backup or import
Connect an iPhone over USB and trust the computer to create a full-device backup, or point the app at an existing iTunes or Finder backup folder to import that instead. Android media can be backed up by type, and WhatsApp can be backed up separately.

Browse and export
When parsing finishes, the data appears in the Timeline and in the Archives categories. Read WhatsApp conversations as chat bubbles, browse photos and video, and export what you need in an open format.
